Wyoming’s direct warning
The Wyoming Gaming Commission’s May 22, 2025 notice in its press-release archive states that no online casino, iGaming or sweepstakes site is licensed by the commission and describes these operations as illegal in Wyoming. It specifically warns that some platforms create Wyoming companies or display Wyoming addresses.
We do not list or promote sweepstakes casinos for Wyoming. A Wyoming LLC or mailing address is not a gaming license. This is particularly useful when a website presents its business registration as the main evidence that it is legitimate.
Read what the commission can actually do
The notice says the commission cannot assist or intervene in disputes over winnings or other accounts on illegal iGaming sites. Do not assume that a regulator will recover a balance simply because the company has a local address. Reporting activity and obtaining an individual remedy are different matters.
Before making a report or seeking advice, organize the exact domain, legal entity, terms, transaction history and support messages. State what happened and what response you received. Keep records of a pending request rather than only the balance currently visible. None of these steps guarantees recovery, but they make the issue identifiable.
If an operator changes its Wyoming terms
Ask whether administrative access continues after gameplay ends, how to download your records and what process applies to requests already submitted. An old welcome email or a review from before the notice should not be used as a current eligibility statement.
Do not use a VPN, an out-of-state address or another person’s identity to work around a block. Also check the mechanics of products labeled social: the commission’s warning includes sites using that label when they provide real-money payouts. An entertainment-only balance is a different product feature, but this page does not certify or recommend individual social games. The appropriate starting point is the regulator’s specific warning and the complete rules, not the location of an incorporation address.
