When two official sweepstakes pages seem to give different answers, record the exact question each page answers before relying on either summary. A help article about coins included with a purchase may have a narrower scope than a condition covering other sources of coins. The useful next step is to identify that difference and ask the operator to clarify it.
This is an explainer about checking sources, not a report of a rule change today. The example below uses official pages opened on October 20, 2026.
One example: a help article and current terms
Stake.us has a Help Center article titled Redemption progress, dated August 12, 2022. It describes a three-times rollover for Stake Cash received alongside a Gold Coin purchase and says that only Stake Cash received alongside a purchase has a rollover. [1]
The Terms & Conditions page lists version 18.0, published July 10, 2026, as its latest version. Clause 13.1(c) states a three-times requirement for Stake Cash, with an exception for Stake Cash won through Promotional Play. That wording is broader than the purchase-specific help explanation. [2]
These are different published descriptions. Their dates alone do not establish which instruction applies to an individual account or promotion, and this comparison does not establish when the wording diverged. Do not treat the older help article as confirmation that every other coin source is exempt.
Make a short source record
Use this original checklist when a similar mismatch appears:
- Save the page title, official URL, displayed date or version, and the clause or heading involved. Keep the date you read it separate from its publication date.
- Identify the subject: the currency, how it was received, the relevant promotion and the action being described. Two paragraphs may concern different situations.
- Write down the unresolved difference in one sentence. Avoid combining the most favorable sentence from each page into a new rule.
- Keep the relevant promotion terms with that record. Stake.us clause 12.2, for example, states that promotion-specific conditions prevail over its general terms to the extent of a conflict. That is a provision in this operator’s document, not a hierarchy to assume for every site. [2]
Ask a question that resolves the mismatch
An original question you can adapt is: “Your help page discusses coins received with a purchase, while the current terms use broader wording. Which condition applies to the coins already in my account, and where is that condition documented?” Refer to the relevant page and clause rather than sending sensitive account documents in a general message.
If the answer remains unclear, leave the question unresolved. Buying more coins or continuing to play is not a way to clarify a policy. Our playthrough guide explains the underlying terminology; this checklist helps you establish which source actually addresses your situation.
Keep the operator’s dated response with the original record. A reply about one account does not establish a rule for every reader, and an explanation of playthrough does not itself confirm redemption eligibility.
